Websites Go Black to Protest SOPA

Today, many websites have gone black to protest the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) or the Protect IP Act (PIPA).

Although this act only affects websites in America, it will have impact worldwide. Many popular websites such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter are headquartered in US and will have to comply with this bill if passed.

On a comedic sidenote, @herpderpedia on Twitter is currently compiling several tweets that show users panicking (re: mostly students) about the Wikipedia Blackout.
